Smart Choice is a photo editing and walkthrough video service based in Chilliwack & Fraser Valley, BC, Canada. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

  • From the free sample form: your name, email, property or company name, listing link, number of properties, what you’re interested in, your message, and your confirmation that you own or manage the listing.
  • Photos: the photos you email us or share by link, and the photos we pick from the listing you send us.
  • Emails: what you write to us.

We don’t use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site.

Why we use it

  • To reply to you and prepare your free sample or order.
  • To deliver your edited photos and walkthrough videos, and make the revisions you ask for.

We never sell your details. We never publish before and after examples of your property without your explicit permission.

Who else handles it

We use a few services to run the business. They store data on our behalf and may store it outside Canada, including in the United States:

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives the form.
  • Google (Gmail and Google Drive) for email and file storage.

How long we keep it

We keep sample requests that don’t become an order for up to 12 months, then delete them. For clients, we keep photos and order details for as long as we need them to deliver the work and meet our tax and accounting obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Email us at and we’ll reply within 30 days.
